I studied at University of Mary in Bismarck, ND where I graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I also got my certification in Manual Therapy through Evidence in Motion. I have also attended various Herman & Wallace pelvic floor courses and Women’s Health APTA courses related to both women, men and children pelvic floor conditions. I treat a variety of women’s related conditions: pelvic pain, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence along with urinary urgency and frequency or hesitancy, fecal incontinence, constipation, pregnancy (prenatal) and postpartum issues, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pain conditions unique to females and many others. I use various treatment techniques and tools used for treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction such as biofeedback, rehabilitative ultrasound, manual therapy and re-education for non-optimal movement strategies and breathing patterns along with many others. I’ve had further training in FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) and visceral mobilization/manipulation as well. I also perform internal pelvic floor muscle exams. I’m also certified in Dry-Needling through Integrative Dry-Needling and a Yoga Instructor (RYT200). Extra course work done through Mary Massery.
